ASUS Become Larger At Notebook Gaming Market

The gaming notebook segment is a dynamic and very interesting segment to be worked on by various vendors that compete in the notebook business. "From GfK data until the end of yesterday, precisely at the end of September 2018, the mastery of the ASUS market for the strongest graphics-based high end gaming notebooks reached 59.8% in Indonesia," he said.



"The dominance of the Nvidia GTX-based ROG notebook line is proof that ASUS remains the top choice in the segment," said Fu Galip, Country Product Marketing Manager, ASUS Indonesia. "Not only in terms of innovative technology, users will also be spoiled by various features of ASUS ROG products that are designed specifically for extreme gamers," he said.

Compared to the second quarter of the same year, namely 2018, the market share of Nvidia GTX-based gaming notebooks, ASUS experienced an increase in market share of 13.1%. "This proves the presence of the latest gaming devices launched by ASUS in Indonesia since the beginning of 2018 and can be accepted by various groups of users, not only in the gaming segment," Galip said.

More specifically, as of the end of the third quarter or September 2018, ASUS market share for Nvidia GeForce GTX1050-based gaming laptops has reached 48.4 percent. As for the GeForce GTX1050Ti and GeForce GTX1060 segments, the numbers reached 73.7 and 72.0 percent. "In the GeForce GTX1070 based gaming laptop segment, ASUS 'market share in Indonesia is still not large," Galip added. "Going forward, we will be presenting a lot of gaming laptop variants that are reinforced by the GPU," he added.

At present, for the top class gaming notebook segment, ASUS already provides two variants of the thinnest gaming notebook, the Zephyrus M GM501 and also a maximum powered notebook in the form of the ROG G703 with an Intel Core i9 processor.
